Unusually, EMI broke with convention and only released  3 of the symphonies (nos. 1 & 5 on EL 270449 and no. 3 on EL 749490) before releasing the complete cycle as a box set. The CD booklet provided is unaware of an LP equivalent and merely details CD contents, although with LP sides of 34 minutes there is probably no difference .
