The Mother / Stamper codes seem to indicate that this LONDON CS pressing is earlier than the equivalent SXL, adding weight to the view that Decca often pressed the initial larger run for the US market and then pressed a smaller quantity for the UK market, inevitably using slightly later mothers/stampers. Certainly, Decca consistently released new recordings in the USA six months or more before their UK release, and the absence of a UK grooved pressing of this issue seems conclusive.
