SXL 6000 NARROW BAND COLLECTION - Part 1 ( 108 LPs )

The Decca SXL 6000 series was launched in 1962 with SXL 6000 and ended with SXL 7013 in 1983. Over the 19 years of its existence the SXL 6000 catalogue grew to nearly 1000 records and, despite the overlap between the advent of digital recording in 1979 and the demise of the series, all the records have analogue sound. The series boasts  an impressive roster of artists, featuring not only those of legendary fame, but also introducing newer, less established performers to the wider record buying public.
This  first selection, comprising 108 records, runs from SXL 6000 to SXL 6320 and includes several earlier wide band pressings, since only the more popular repertoire  remained in the catalogue until 1970, when the narrow band label was introduced.
108 LPs in NM condition / EX+ sleeves
All the records have the proper Decca poly-lined inners
