JOHANNES BRAHMS

 

Johannes Brahms (7 May 1833 – 3 April 1897) German composer, mid-Romantic period.  Renowned for his mastery of symphonic, choral, chamber, and piano music, Brahms composed major works such as his four symphonies, Hungarian Dances, German Requiem, Piano Concertos Nos. 1 and 2, Violin Concerto, and numerous chamber pieces.
