FRANZ SCHUBERT
Franz Peter Schubert (1797 – 1828) Austrian composer - late Classical and early Romantic era. Schubert composed around 600 lieder, many of which are settings of poems by renowned poets like Goethe, Schiller, and Heine. He also wrote operas - none of them successful, but enjoyed greater success with his symphonies and much fine chamber music
