His Master’s Voice (HMV) classical records were among the most prestigious in the golden age of recorded classical music (1900–1960s).  HMV ASD Series (Stereo LPs) were Introduced in 1958 with white & gold, then later, red & black semi-circle labels. HMV's ALP Series were the equivalent mono issues. HMV released various other classical series, including  CSD, HQS, SXLP and Reflexe, the early music label.
