Collection: LUCIANO PAVAROTTI
Luciano Pavarotti (1935–2007) was one of the most celebrated Italian opera tenors of all time, renowned for his powerful yet effortlessly lyrical voice and charismatic stage presence. He rose to international fame with his interpretations of works by Verdi, Puccini and Donizetti and became a great favourite at major opera houses around the world. His recording of 'Nessun Dorma' - the signature tune of the 1990 World Cup competition - and his appearance in the famous "Three Tenors" concerts alongside Plácido Domingo and José Carreras confirmed his unique worldwide celebrity and perhaps made him the only opera singer ever to achieve such renown.
