JEAN SIBELIUS
Jean Sibelius ( 1865 - 1957) Finnish composer of the late Romantic and early modern periods. Widely regarded as Finland's greatest composer. Sibelius is known for his seven symphonies and other notable works including the tone poem Finlandia, the Lemminkäinen Suite (including "The Swan of Tuonela"), the Violin Concerto, and the choral symphony Kullervo, Valse Triste and the Karelia Suite.
