Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov ( 1873 –1943) 20th Century Russian composer whose most famous works include the Piano Concerto No. 2 and Piano Concerto No. 3, the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Symphony No. 2, and solo piano works such as the Prelude in C-sharp minor and Etudes-Tableaux.
