Andre Previn - ( 1929-2019 ) German-American conductor, pianist, composer, arranger, and jazz artist whose career shifted to become a major conductor on both sides of the Atlantic for many Orchestras, though his most celebrated tenure was London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) from 1968–1979 where he made a huge catalog of recordings that are still admired for their vitality, transparency, and warmth.
