LEONARD BERNSTEIN
Leonard Bernstein (1918–1990) was an iconic American conductor, composer, pianist, and educator, celebrated for his dynamic presence on the podium and his wide-ranging contributions to music. He served as music director of the New York Philharmonic, where he championed both classical masterpieces and contemporary works.
