Collection: NEW ARRIVALS
OCTOBER 2026 - This month we feature the first piano concertos of MOZART (1756 - 1791). The first four ( K37 / K39 / K40 / K41 ) are his youthful adaptations of sonata movements by other composers, but his first essay in the form as sole composer is Concerto No. 5 K175. This introductory selection will extend to Concerto No. 9 K271 'Jeunehomme'. The remaining concertos will be listed in monthly stages.
We remain in the 18th century in our second survey of a selection of the orchestral and choral music of Joseph HAYDN (1732 - 1809).
Four composers of Polish descent occupy this month's 20th century slot: Karol SZYMANOWSKY (1882 - 1937), Witold LUTOSLAWSKI (1913 - 1994), Andrzej PANUFNIK (1914 - 1991) and Krzysztof PENDERECKI (1933 - 2020). We hope to offer a small but representative selection of works by these composers, whose music is still little known.
We frequently add new Classical LPs to our store, so please keep checking back, or if there is a specific recording you are searching for, please feel free to contact us.
