Since 20 years separate the two parts of The Well Tempered Clavier, Gustav Leonhardt plays this music on two different harpsichords. Part 1 is performed on a 1972 David Rubio instrument modelled on an original Pascal Taskin clavier from the 1720s, and Part 2 on a 1962 Martin Skowroneck modelled on a Dulcken instrument from 1745.
